We all love online shopping (or in-store shopping), but wouldn’t it make our shopping trip much more enjoyable if we knew that the companies we were shopping with donated or gave back to people or animals in need?
I try to donate to animal rescues or various charities when I can, but I am loving the idea of being able to spoil myself a little bit and know that I’m helping out other people at the same time.
It’s basically a way to not feel guilty when you’re being selfish and buying another pair of shoes, or another outfit, or even a chic water new water bottle, because of course we have to look cute as we hydrate.
A Lifestyle Daily’s Give Back List
∇ Puppies Make Me Happy– I was beyond thrilled to have been able to interview the founder and creator of Puppies Make Me Happy a few months ago, because I LOVE their company.
Their clothes are not only beyond cute, but they donate to animal rescues around the country with every purchase.
∇ Project 7– They are a specialty gum and mint company that makes everything here in the US and makes sure to give back to each of the 7 needs: the earth, homelessness, hunger, clean water, education, health, and even bullying.
To date, Project 7 has planted 3.7 million trees, provided 3.1 million meals in the US, 1.1. million hours of education, 1.2 million hours of shelter, 1.2 million months of clean water, & 100 thousand malaria treatments.
∇ Better World Books– I am a HUGE book lover, duh, so when I found this website, I fell in love. Whenever you buy a book through their site: textbooks, health books, books for fun, etc, they will donate a book to someone in need. They primarily work with Books For Africa, Room To Read, & National Center for Families Learning. So before you head to Barnes & Noble, check out this site first.
∇ Hand In Hand Soap– Ok, I am OBSESSED with this site. First of all, they are cruelty free, all natural, AND for every product sold, they provide a bar of soap and a month of clean water to a child in need. Not to mention, their products are cute AF- no joke.
∇ Faucet Face- This company has the CHICEST (is that a word? chic-est?), glass water bottles. Seriously will look beyond cute as you hydrate. They donate 2.5% of the sales of the bottles to the water charity, Third Millennium Awakening. Their bottles are also eco-friendly.
∇ People Water: This company is just #LifeGoals. Seriously, check out their website here and here to read about just how amazing they are. I’m about to buy 100 water bottles from them. For every bottle purchased, they provide the same amount of water to a person in need.
∇ BoGo Bowl- You all know my obsesh with animals (if you follow me on Snap- you know this because I only post pics of my two pups). The creators of BoGo Bowl are beyond awesome because with every bag of dog purchased, they give a bag to dogs in need. Their food is healthy and contain only REAL ingredients. It’s a no-brainer.
I could add about a million more companies to this list, but then you’d be here for days reading, so I’ll start with those and maybe I’ll make this a monthly series and slowly mention more and more companies to watch out for? Thoughts? Would this interest you? Let me know in the comments below!
Alright, off to do some guilt-free shopping!
