Hi babes! Happy Sunday!
So bummed it’s the last day of the weekend. I had a very long and insanely draining week last week and I’m sure this week will be the same. BUT, this post is full of happy and goodness, so that for sure improves my tune.
Oh, and my friend and I have decided to create an online web design business. Very very excited!! Stay tuned for more updates!
Any who, I discussed manifesting good vibes into your life earlier this week, and now it’s time for some amazing affirmations/mantras you NEED to say and believe everyday to seriously bring your ideal life into play.
The last few weeks I have been crazy inspired to kick my business up a notch. Being my own boss and inspiring others has always been the goal, and lately, I’m doing everything I can to make that a goal happen. I’ve even come up with a fun idea for a new project launching at the beginning of the year! Stay tuned for all the deets because I’m bringing each of you along for the creation process. I want to make sure that it’s something YOU want and would love.
On that note, I’ve been reciting a few affirmations everyday and creating vision boards, lighting candles, and focusing on all those good vibes I need in my life. And making sure that I stay in a good mindset.
If you need to get in a better headspace, I highly suggest you check out Cara Alwill Leyba over at The Champagne Diet. She’s written 7 books ( I chatted about GirlCode here), her insta stories alone make you wanna get off your ass and create the life of your dreams, and she’s just a badass. (Can you tell I have a girl crush??).
Anyway, I headed to my “Happy Feels” Pinterest board to collect some of my faves and obvi share them with all of you, who may be struggling and are just ready to do your own thing too.
According to this source:
Affirmations are sentences aimed to affect the conscious and the subconscious mind. The words composing the affirmation, automatically and involuntarily, bring up related mental images into the mind, which could inspire, energize and motivate. Repeating affirmations, and the resultant mental images, affect the subconscious mind, which in turn, influences the behavior, habits, actions and reactions.
I’ve definitely always thought that the human mind is truly an amazing thing. What you put out there is what you get. So if you’re always just pouring positivity, positive and great things will come and vice versa with the negativity.
A good habit to form is taking 10 minutes before you go to bed and quieting your mind and repeating how grateful you are for the day you had (even if it sucked), and what your intentions are for the next day and what you want to manifest. Write down your affirmations or goals in a journal and go to bed with good vibes.
When you wake up the next day, before reaching for your phone or watching tv, take a few minutes to set intentions and write in your journal. Seriously sets the tone for the whole day.
Do that and just kinda watch the magic happen.
What affirmations are you loving lately??
Off to enjoy the last few hours of Sunday!
